About
Exploring Arkansas: One blog post at a time.
Arkansas is, of course, the Natural State. It is a place of natural beauty, and a a melting pot of the surrounding state's culinary traditions. Originally, this website was about traveling up and down the highways of Arkansas visiting interesting places and people "all along 64, 40, and up and down 49." As the website has grown I've stepped away from dining tables and onto hiking trails and campgrounds. While I Write Arkansas will still certainly post about people and eateries the focus will continue to move toward the outdoors and traditional foods that make Arkansas great and my experiences as I grow as an Arkansas chef and outdoorsman.
